Overnights: Sony TV leads on Saturday; rivals tumble in UK

Sony TV emerged as the leading Asian TV broadcaster on Saturday in UK ratings, while rivals such as Utsav Plus and Colors witnessed a significant fall, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.11%, followed by Utsav Plus with 0.07%, ATN Bangla and New Vision TV with 0.06%, Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Geo TV with 0.03%, ZEE TV and Colors with 0.02% and Hum TV with 0.01%.

Sony TV stayed top with its weekend programming. ‘Indian Idol 12’ led with 71,000 viewers at 20:00. ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 fetched 17,900 viewers

On Utsav Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ dropped below 50k for the first time with 34,600 viewers tuning in at 20:00, followed by ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’ at 21:00 with 33,200 viewers and ‘Sharya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ at 18:30 with 23,500 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Dance Deewane’ suffered a loss with just 7,600 viewers tuning in at 21:30.

On ZEE TV, ‘Indian Pro Music League’ raked in 10,300 viewers at 19:00.
