Overnights: Sony TV & Hum TV behind Star Gold in UK on Easter Sunday


Star Gold remained the ultimate leader in Easter Sunday ratings in the UK, while Sony Entertainment Television and Hum TV took the next two positions, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold delivered a share of 0.23%, followed by Sony TV with 0.09%, Hum TV with 0.08%, Star Plus, Sony MAX and New Vision TV with 0.05%, Geo TV and Geo News with 0.04%, Colors and Sony SAB TV with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.

Star Gold’s coverage of IPL 2019 kept the channel above the rest with Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders match at 11:20 pulled in 30,800 viewers. The second match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings raked in 34,200 viewers at 15:20. The repeat telecast of the match attracted 18,900 viewers at 19:15.

On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ attracted 42,400 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 with 17,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Anaa’ was biggest Pakistani show in UK yesterday with 37,000 viewers, followed by ‘Madiha Maliha’ at 22:00 with 14,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘The Voice’ at 20:00 fetched 14,900 viewers, followed by ‘Gumrah’ at midnight with 4,800 viewers and ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 with 3,700 viewers.
