Overnights: Sony TV holds on to lead on Friday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television remained the UK’s No.1 Asian TV channel on Friday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel delivered a share of 0.13%, followed by Star Gold with 0.07%, Star Plus and Aaj Tak with 0.06%, New Vision TV with 0.05%, Sony MAX, Sony MAX 2, Colors Rishtey and ABP News with 0.04%, Colors, B4U Movies and Dunya News with 0.03%, Hum TV, NDTV 24×7, Venus TV and Colors Cineplex with 0.02%, Star Bharat, Sony SAB TV, Republic Bharat, Geo TV, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.01%.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Indian Idol 10’ re-run with 38,700 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Best of The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 16:30 with 38,000 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 14:30 with 32,000 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ led with 18,700 viewers at 07:00, followed by ‘Saathiya’ re-run at 15:30 with 17,400 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ at 18:00 with 16,900 viewers.

On Colors Rishtey, ‘Balika Vadhu’ was watched by 14,800 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 13,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Mahabharat’ topped ratings with 27,100 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Mahabharat’ repeat at 13:30 with 11,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Zebaish’ led with 19,300 viewers at 20:00.

On ZEE TV, movie ‘8×10 Tasveer’ led with 5,800 viewers at 14:30 and ‘Jodha Akbar’ at 19:00 also raked in 5,800 viewers.
