Overnights: Sony TV hits No.1 spot on Saturday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television’s strong weekend programming put the channel at No.1 again on Saturday in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel was by far the biggest Asian TV broadcaster with a share of 0.13%, followed by Star Plus with 0.09%, ZEE Cinema and Geo TV with 0.06%, Colors with 0.05%, Hum TV, PTC Punjabi and Geo News with 0.04% and ZEE TV with just 0.01%.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Super Dancer Chapter 3’ at 20:00 with 48,700 viewers, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 41,900 viewers and ‘Best of Crime Patrol’ at 01:30 with 26,800 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Divya Drishti’ at 21:30 topped ratings for the first time with 33,900 viewers, followed by ‘The Voice’ at 20:00 with 28,000 viewers and ‘YRKKH – Sabse Favourite Shaadi’ at 17:00 with 20,000 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Kamzarf’ repeat at 17:00 pulled in 17,500 viewers, followed by ‘The Shareef Show’ at 19:00 with 15,300 viewers and ‘Khaani’ at 21:00 with 11,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Court Room’ at 22:30 pulled in 23,300 viewers, followed by ‘Sitara’ at 23:30 with 17,800 viewers and ‘Rising Star’ opened up with 11,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ delivered 9,500 viewers, followed by ‘Tajeed-e-Wafa’ repeat at 13:00 with 8,300 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Out & About’ pulled in 5,900 viewers at 19:00 and ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ at 19:30 with 3,700 viewers.

On the movie front, ZEE Cinema was the biggest movie channel with ‘Thanedaar’ raking in 13,300 viewers at 15:00, followed by ‘Sharmilee’ at 11:15 with 11,800 viewers.
