Overnights: Sony TV delivers record weekday ratings on Thursday in UK

Sony Entertainment Television emerged as the strongest Asian entertainment channel in UK ratings on Thursday, with record weekday numbers, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Gold was the UK’s No.1 Asian TV broadcaster with its IPL 2019 coverage. The channel scored a share of 0.19%, while Sony TV was right behind it with a share of 0.18%. Hum TV came third with an impressive 0.12%, followed by Star Plus with 0.11%, Dunya News with 0.05%, New Vision TV, ZEE TV and Colors with 0.03%.

Sony TV’s biggest attractions were ‘Crime Patrol’ at 22:00 with 55,200 viewers, followed by ‘Best of Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 46,400 viewers, ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 43,800 viewers, ‘Patiala Babes’ at 21:00 with 38,700 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 26,300 viewers.

Star Plus’ top shows were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 60,100 viewers, followed by ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 56,900 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 35,300 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 34,800 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 18,400 viewers.
