Overnights: Sony TV, Colors & ZEE TV drop; Star Plus rises on Wednesday

Despite big shows, Sony TV, Colors and ZEE TV witnessed a significant decline in UK ratings on Wednesday, while Star Plus rose further, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

News channels New Vision TV and Dunya TV leapt ahead of entertainment giants including Hum TV and Geo TV.

Amongst the top shows, Star Plus ruled with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ attracting 85,000 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 75,300 viewers, ‘Mariam Khan’ at 19:00 with 65,300 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:30 with 50,900 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 47,500 viewers, ‘Ishqbaaaz’ at 20:00 with 41,100 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 18:00 with 39,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ was back on top with 37,700 viewers, while ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ dropped from record audiences on Tuesday to 22,600 viewers on Wednesday.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 12’ pulled in 33,000 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Bepannaah’ with 12,100 viewers and ‘Silsila’ with 10,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mann Maail’ led with 18,700 viewers, followed by ‘Ki Jana Main Kaun’ at 22:00 with 10,700 viewers and ‘Kaisi Aurat Hun Main’ at 20:00 with 8,800 viewers.

ZEE Cinema was top Hindi movie channel with ’36 China Town’ raking in 17,900 viewers at 15:00, followed by ‘Mohra’ at 11:45 with 9,800 viewers.
