Overnights: Sony TV annihilates rivals on Saturday in UK

Sony TV trumped out rivals on Saturday in UK ratings with strong performances by ‘India’s Best Dancer’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony TV delivered a share of 0.20%, followed by Star Plus with 0.08%, PTC Punjabi with 0.07%, Hum TV with 0.06%, ZEE TV with 0.05%, Star Gold, B4U Music and Colors with 0.04%, ZEE Cinema, Republic Bharat, Colors Cineplex and Geo TV with 0.03%, Colors Rishtey, New Vision TV, Dunya News, Sony SAB TV, B4U Movies, Aaj Tak, Venus TV and Geo News with 0.02%.

Sony TV’s top attractions on Saturday were ‘India’s Best Dancer’ at 20:00 with 81,600 viewers – the biggest show on Saturday across all Asian TV networks. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was watched by 59,900 viewers at 21:30. The repeat of the comedy series at 18:30 pulled in 25,600 viewers. Earlier in the day, ‘Crime Patrol’ raked in 22,700 viewers at 11:30.

On Star Plus, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ delivered 37,000 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 33,300 viewers, ‘Anupamaa’ at 20:00 with 32,300 viewers, ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 31,700 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 19,500 viewers, ‘Lockdown Ki Love Story’ at 18:30 with 17,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 13,400 viewers and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 9,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Mushk’ attracted 31,800 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Soteli Maamta’ at 19:30 with 27,000 viewers and ‘Mr Shamim’ at 19:00 with 15,900 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ led with 34,600 viewers at 19:00, followed by ‘Starry Nights Gen Y’ at 20:30 with 20,400 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ delivered 23,900 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Naagin’ at 20:00 with 9,700 viewers.
