Overnights: Sony SAB TV shoots to No.2 in UK on Friday

Sony SAB TV emerged as the second strongest UK Asian TV channel in Friday ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus clearly stayed at No.1 with a share of 0.15%. Its top rated shows on Friday were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 100,500 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 18:00 with 69,600 viewers and ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 with 66,500 viewers.

Sony SAB TV surprised with a share of 0.09%. Its top rated show was ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:15 with 32,000 viewers, while ‘Crime Patrol’ also did well at 22:15 with 28,500 viewers.

Hum TV and PTC Punjabi delivered a share of 0.05%. ‘Parchhayi’ led on Hum TV at 21:00 with 38,600 viewers.

ZEE TV raked in a share of 0.04% with ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ on top with 15,000 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Jeet Gaye Toh Piya Morrey’ at 22:00 with 13,600 viewers.

Sony Entertainment Television attracted a share of 0.02%, while Colors slipped to 0.01%.
