Overnights: Sony SAB TV rises to No.3 after Star Plus & Hum TV on Tuesday

In a further twist in the ongoing UK ratings drama, Sony SAB TV emerged as the third most watched Asian TV channel on Tuesday, overtaking its flagship channel, Sony TV, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Star Plus remained the No.1 Asian TV channel, with half of the share that it delivered on the previous day. Star Plus’ share was at 0.10%, followed by Hum TV with 0.09%, Sony SAB TV with 0.08%, Sony Entertainment Television with 0.07%, ARY Family and Colors Rishtey with 0.05%, Colors with 0.04%, Geo TV, Sony MAX and Star Bharat with 0.03% and ZEE TV with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ biggest attractions were ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 48,700 viewers, followed by ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 29,800 viewers, ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 25,300 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 19,600 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 19,500 viewers. ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ remained low with 9,400 viewers at 22:00, lower than re-runs of ‘Veera’ at 13:00 with 21,700 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 14:30 with 19,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Suno Chanda’ delivered 42,300 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Bharam’ at 22:45 with 17,300 viewers and ‘Mere Humdum’ at 19:30 with 15,000 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, movies ‘Aashirwad’ at 12:00 and ‘Ghar Ek Mandir’ at 14:45 pulled in 14,700 viewers and 12,500 viewers respectively. Earlier in the day, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at 09:00 was watched by 7,400 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ was top show with 37,500 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Sai’ with 19,900 viewers at 18:45 and ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:00 with 17,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Kesari Nandan’ at 20:30 topped ratings with 12,100 viewers, followed by ‘Silsila’ at 22:00 with 12,000 viewers and ‘Gathbandhan’ at 21:00 with 11,800 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Manmohini’ at 22:00 led with 7,200 viewers, followed by ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ repeat at 14:00 with 5,400 viewers and ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’ at 21:30 with 5,200 viewers.
