Overnights: Sony MAX takes No.1 spot on Sunday beating Star Plus

Sony MAX has beaten market leader, Star Plus once again by clinching the No.1 spot on Sunday in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

The channel’s ongoing coverage of Pakistan V Sri Lanka cricket brought in over 55,000 viewers (average) between 14:00 – 18:00. Film ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’ at 20:00 pulled in 4,500 viewers. Overall, Sony MAX’s share stood at 0.13%, compared to Star Plus’ 0.10%.

On Star Plus, ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ at 20:00 pulled in 46,700 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Dance Champions’ at 21:00 with 28,600 viewers and repeat of ‘Lip Sing Battle’ at 15:30 with 19,900 viewers.

On Sony Entertainment Television, repeat of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ at 17:00 pulled in 27,300 viewers, followed by ‘The Drama Company’ at 21:00 with 16,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 11’ at 21:00 raked in 31,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, the Grand Finale of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ at 18:30 was watched by 13,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Tumhari Maryum’ at 20:00 was watched by 11,700 viewers.

On Hum Masala, ‘Something Fishy’ at 17:30 attracted 24,300 viewers.
