Overnights: Sony MAX overtakes ZEE Cinema again on Monday

The competition between old rivals, ZEE Cinema and Sony MAX took another turn on Monday in UK ratings, with a clear leader in Sony MAX, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Sony MAX was the ultimate leader with ‘Veer Zaara’ being most watched. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer pulled in 14,100 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 40,100 viewers, followed by ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ at 14:45 with 6,300 viewers. The India V Sri Lanka third match of the third test, pulled in 5,200 viewers from 04:45.

ZEE Cinema mostly averaged near zero ratings, with only patriotic drama ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Waton Saathiyo’ at 19:00 pulling in under 1,000 viewers.

In first official weekly reach data from BARB, Sony MAX was well ahead of ZEE Cinema. The former’s weekly reach stands at 345,000 viewers, while ZEE Cinema could only manage 102,000 viewers.
