Overnights: Sony MAX & Colors close-in on Star Plus on Saturday

As viewers begin searching for reality TVs and film content during weekend output, Star Plus suffered another dip in its UK ratings, with Sony MAX and Colors taking the joint No.2 slot on Saturday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Star Plus’ share stood at 0.10%, with Sony MAX and Colors both raking in a share of 0.08%, while &TV was placed in third with a share of 0.07%.

Star Plus’ top rated show on Saturday was ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 63,500 viewers. ‘Tu Sooraj Mein Saanjh Piyaji’ at 19:00 pulled in 57,700 viewers and ‘India’s Next Superstars’ at 20:00 with 34,400 viewers.

Sony MAX’s top movie offering on Saturday was the repeat telecast of ‘Mubarakan’ at 11:30 with 21,600 viewers. Surprisingly, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ repeat at 20:00 could only manage 8,200 viewers.

Colors did well with the regular outing of ‘Rising Star’ at 21:00, which was a Rekha special, watched by 49,900 viewers.

&TV witnessed a surge with its film ‘Bewafa’ at 16:30 pulling in 37,700 viewers. &TV, along with Brit Asia TV, both got a share of 0.07%.

Sony Entertainment Television clocked a share of 0.05% with the final of ‘Super Dancer’ attracting 24,300 viewers.

ZEE TV managed to deliver a share of 0.03%.
