Overnights: Sony MAX beats ZEE Cinema despite ‘JHMS’ premiere

Sony MAX emerged as the UK’s most watched Bollywood movie channel on Sunday, beating ZEE Cinema despite the premiere of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .

Sony MAX’s top film was the classic ‘Kaala Pathar’ with 25,200 viewers at 10:30, followed by ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ at 20:00 with 9,800 viewers. The channel’s share stood at 0.06%.

ZEE Cinema’s premiere of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ attracted 32,900 viewers at 18:00, followed by ‘Dil Dhadakane Do’ at 14:30 with 3,000 viewers.

Star Gold’s screening of ‘Golmaal 3’ at 17:15 pulled in 18,600 viewers and ‘A Gentleman’ at 20:00 with 10,500 viewers.

B4U Movies’ top movie on Sunday was ‘Aulad’ at 08:00 with 2,700 viewers. ‘Pizza’ at 20:00 raked in 2,100 viewers.
