Overnights: Sony MAX 2 on par with Sony TV at No.2 on Sunday in UK

Sony MAX 2 emerged as the most watched Bollywood movie channel in UK ratings on Sunday, putting on par with sister channel, Sony Entertainment Television at No.2, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Sony MAX 2 registered a share of 0.09%, same as Sony TV. Star Plus was the No.1 Asian TV broadcaster with a share of 0.10%. However, Sony MAX 2 led the movie genre with rival channels in distant positions. ZEE Cinema fetched 0.04%, followed by Star Gold with 0.03%, B4U Movies, Colors Cineplex and Sony MAX with 0.01%.

Sony MAX 2’s biggest offerings were ‘Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani’ at 12:30 with 19,700 viewers, followed by ‘Hum Hain Bemisal’ at 22:15 with 16,500 viewers.
