Star Plus’ much hyped new mythological series ‘Siya Ke Ram’ kicked off last night in UK on a quiet night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which has been described to tell the legendary ‘Ramayana’ series from Sita’s perspective, started with just 38,900 viewers at 20:00 – peaking at 48,000 viewers. The show is expected to pick up in days to come. The most popular show on Star Plus last night was ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 183,200 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 175,300 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 162,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 9’ took lead with 55,100 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:0 with 19,500 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ stayed top with 95,100 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 71,600 viewers and ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 62,000 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ at 19:30 remained top with 23,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ at 19:00 with 20,300 viewers and ‘Begusarai’ at 22:00 with 19,200 viewers. New show ‘Adhuri Kahani Hamari’ at 21:30 opened up with just 2,200 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Maan’ at 20:00 led with 35,200 viewers, followed by ‘Ishq Benam’ at 19:30 with 25,700 viewers and ‘Aik This Misaal’ at 22:00 with 18,600 viewers.

On Geo TV, the penultimate episode of ‘Ishqaway’ at 21:00 pulled in 29,800 viewers, followed by the debut episode of ‘Ali Ki Ammi’ at 20:00 with 23,400 viewers and ‘Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga’ at 18:30 raked in 15,400 viewers.
