Overnights: ‘Shivaay’ premiere attracts record viewership
The premiere of Ajay Devgn’s 2016 release ‘Shivaay’ on Star Gold last night proved a huge success in UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com .
The action thriller was watched by a massive 73,300 viewers at 21:00 – peaking at 111,500 viewers. The film released last October to coincide with Diwali. It was beaten at the box office by ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which also released during the same Diwali weekend.
On &TV, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ at 16:00 with 13,500 viewers.
On Sony SAB TV, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ at 17:45 was watched by 12,900 viewers, followed by ‘Veer Zaara’ at 21:40 with 8,800 viewers and ‘Lamhe’ at 10:30 with 7,000 viewers.
On Rishtey Cineplex, movie premiere ‘Force 2’ at 21:00 pulled in 8,700 viewers.
