Life Ok Screen Awards prove a huge hit

Star Life Ok scored its biggest ever ratings in months last night, mainly thanks to the five-hour marathon run of the Life Ok Screen Awards.

The coverage of the Bollywood event kicked off at 19:00 with the Red Carpet event, which pulled in 37,800 viewers, followed by the Main Event between 20:00 – 23:30 with an impressive 92,300 viewers – peaking at 131,900 viewers. The Technical Awards at 23:30 attracted 53,400 viewers. Star Life Ok was the most watched Asian channel in the UK during the Main Event hours.

On flagship channel, Star Plus, the semi-final part one of ‘Nach Baliye 6’ edition got 88,500 viewers between 21:00 and 22:30 – peaking at 138,700 viewers. The popularity of soon-to-end ‘Arjun’ waned last night with just 27,200 viewers. The repeat episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ featuring Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar attracted 23,100 viewers at 19:00.

On Colors, ‘India’s Got Talent’ was the most watched show with 71,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ featuring Bipasha Basu with 67,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, Pakistani drama ‘Mere Qatil Mere Dildar’ pulled in 42,200 viewers – peaking at 55,300 viewers, followed by ‘Aamne Saamne’ with 14,700 viewers.
