'Savdhaan India' tops Life Ok ratings in UK

The crime thriller show ‘Savdhaan India’ on Star Life Ok has managed to remain the channel’s most watched show for the second night on the trot, according to exclusive UK data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional.

The popular show got an audience of 48,000 last night – one of the best figures for the show. It peaked further to 78,700 viewers with an average share of 0.37 per cent. ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ at 20:00 got 42,400 and occupied the second place. In third was ‘Welcome’ at 22:00, which got 38,200 – peaking at 53,500.

On flagship channel, Star Plus, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara’ was the most watched show again in the UK with an impressive 207,000 – peaking at 246,500. In second place was ‘Saathiya’, which airs at 19:00. It got 177,200 viewers. ‘Veera’ at 22:30 was in third with 175,200 viewers. ‘Ek Haazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ was in fourth with 154,100 – peaking further to 179,100. In fifth place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 150,400.

The others were ‘Kaali Ek Punaravtar’ with 136,600, followed by ‘Yeh Khamoshiyan’ with 126,100 and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 120,500.

On Sony SAB TV – The repeat telecast of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ at midday was watched by 41,600 – beating a lot of the UK Asian TV rivals. ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ at 21:30 got the second most viewers with 31,500.

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Is Desh Laado’ at 21:00 with 57,900, followed by ‘Jeevan Saathi’ attracted 55,200 viewers in the 20:00 slot and ‘Jaane Kya Baat Hui’ at 19:00 with 40,000.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ continued to disappoint with a zero rating at 10:30, 16:30 and 22:30. Only the 18:30 original telecast got just under 1,000 viewers – peaking at 5,000 later.
