Overnights: ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ pulls biggest audience

Fictions on Colors finally showed some headway in the ratings last night with ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and ‘BeIntehaa’ both garnering the biggest ever audiences in the UK.

It was a generally good night for Colors with a much needed ratings push overall. ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ pulled in 90,700 viewers – beating sister channel, Rishtey at 19:30 to second place. ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ which airs at the same time on Rishtey could manage around 45,000 viewers. ‘BeIntehaa’ was the other show, which performed exceptionally well for the channel with 77,400 viewers at 21:00 – again beating other shows in the time slot (except Star Plus).

Star Plus led the ratings as usual, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ at 22:00 was the channel driver with 174,500 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ with 154,700 viewers and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 144,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ was the most watched show on the channel with 129,100 viewers and ‘Parichay’ in second with 88,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Tumhari Paakhi’ was top with 42,400 viewers, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 41,300 viewers and ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ was third with 30,700 viewers.
