Popular show ‘Saraswatichandra’ has taken back the lead in the UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia for last night.

The drama, which airs weekdays at 19:30 pulled in 187,700 viewers – peaking at 234,200 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ in second place with 166,800 viewers, followed by ‘Veera’ with 144,700 viewers in third.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (100,400), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (90,500), ‘Saathiya’ (85,300), ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (74,500), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (64,000) and ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (51,300).

Over on Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ ruled the ratings with 31,300 viewers, followed by ‘Amrit Manthan’ with 26,700 viewers and ‘Mahadev’ with 11,100 viewers. The re-run of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi at 14:00 pulled in 8,800 viewers, however the English dubbed version at 18:00 rated zero.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was top with 94,000 viewers and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ followed with 72,600 viewers. In third was ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 44,800 viewers.
