'SaraswatiChandra' stays top in UK

Star Plus’ much loved drama ‘SaraswatiChandra’, which airs at 19:30 weekdays, continued its success in the UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘SaraswatiChandra’ was top for the second week running with 204,200 viewers – peaking at 249,700 viewers. The show is set to grow further after last night’s revelation episode, in which ‘SaraswatiChandra’ true identity was unveiled to the whole family including Pramad. In second place was ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 159,600 viewers, followed by ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 154,600 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (154,000), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (142,600), ‘Saathiya’ (126,500), ‘Mahabharat’ (110,100), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (103,500), ‘Veera’ (90,900) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (39,600).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ continued its reign on the channel with 82,400 viewers, followed by ‘Balika Vadhu’ (repeat) with 24,100 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ with 18,000 viewers. New show ‘Sanskaar’ started with 5,400 viewers at 19:00.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ climbed its way back to the top with 96,300 viewers, followed by ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 89,200 viewers and ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 74,100 viewers. ‘Parichay’ was next with 58,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Mahadev’ was top with 27,300 viewers, followed by ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ with 26,400 viewers and ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ with 21,800 viewers. The re-run of ‘Geet’ got 12,400 viewers at 14:30, while the re-run of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi got just 200 viewers, while the English dubbed got 5,900 viewers.
