Star Plus’ recent addition ‘SaraswatiChandra’ has returned to pole position in the UK ratings, BizAsia can exclusive reveal.

According to data obtained by BizAsia, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced show pulled in a fantastic 252,800 viewers at 19:30 – peaking at 297,100 viewers. This was the second biggest audience for the show since it launched last week. On Monday this week, the show fetched 289,400 viewers.

‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 last night was the second most watched show on the channel – slightly less than what it has been gaining but still respectable 157,300 viewers tuning in. In third was ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 154,800 viewers.

The others were ‘Yeh Rishta Ka Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 121,400, followed by ‘Kaali Ek PunarAvtar’ with 119,100, ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (109,600), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (102,000) and ‘Veera’ (70,200).

Zing had reason to rejoice after its local production ‘Cloud 9’ put on a better than normal performance in the 18:30 slot – pulling 15,600 viewers. The 22:30 repeat rated zero. However, it was ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00, which was the channel’s most watched show at 18:00 with 19,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ at 20:30 continued its good performance with 84,400 viewers, followed by ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ at 21:00 with 64,200 and ‘Swarg’ at 18:30 with 44,000 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ remained the most popular show on the channel with 45,200, followed by ‘2612’ with 35,500 viewers and ‘Junoon’ at 21:30 with 29,400 viewers.
