Overnights: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ ratings continue to soar

The ratings for ‘SaraswatiChandra’ have gone through the roof with one of the biggest ever audiences tuning in last night to Star Plus at 19:30.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ was in the lead in a big way last night with a huge 271,500 viewers watching the latest drama unfold in the hit show. The audience peaked further to 296,200 viewers.

In second place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 227,600 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Bhabhi’ with 221,900 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ in fourth with 198,700 viewers. The others in the pecking order were ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (172,900), ‘Mahabharat’ (163,200), ‘Saathiya’ (152,400), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (129,400), ‘Veera’ (115,100) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (72,900).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ was top again on the channel with 89,300 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 23,500 viewers and ‘Madhubala’ with 10,900 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Geet’ (re-run) was back on top of the channel’s ratings with 28,200 viewers, followed by ‘Mahadev’ with 24,500 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ with 18,200 viewers. ‘Ek Boond Ishq’ was next with 15,000 viewers. The re-run of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ at 14:00 got 5,100 viewers, while the 18:00 English dubbed version got just 400 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ led the ratings on the channel with 60,800 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 58,800 viewers and ‘Parichay’ in third with 46,000 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ topped the channel’s ratings with 37,100 viewers, while ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was in second with 34,700 viewers and ‘Baal Veer’ next with 13,700 viewers.
