Overnights: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ keeps top spot in UK
The latest action scenes between Saras-Pramad-Kumud have kept viewers gripped with the show once again emerging as the most watched show on UK Asian TV.
According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, last night’s episode drew 222,000 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 206,600 viewers and ‘Meri Bhabhi’ in third with 198,500 viewers.
The others in the pecking order were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (177,600), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (173,500), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (138,200), ‘Mahabharat’ (113,300), ‘Saathiya’ (99,800), ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (70,700) and ‘Veera’ (65,400).
On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ continued its reign with 123,300 viewers – peaking at 168,700 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 68,800 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ repeat at 22:30 with 33,200 viewers.
On Lamhe, ‘Kasamh Se’ was back on top with 27,400 viewers, followed by ‘Koshish – Ek Asha’ with 14,600 viewers and ‘Saat Phere’ with 13,500 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top on the channel with 22,300 viewers, followed by re-run of ‘Geet’ with 17,800 viewers and ‘Mahadev’ next with 13,600 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ re-run rated zero.
On Rishtey, two fictions brought in record high viewership – ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ in the 19:30 slot with 122,800 viewers and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ with 124,200 viewers. ‘Parichay’ at 20:00 also did well with 92,900 viewers.
