Overnights: ‘SaraswatiChandra’ jumps to top

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s hit drama ‘SaraswatiChandra’ has connected well with UK viewers and once again jumped back to the top spot last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ attracted 245,100 viewers – peaking at 272,100 viewers. In second place was ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 205,900 viewers and ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna’ firmly in third place with 200,000 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘MasterChef India’ (195,400), ‘Saathiya’ (187,200), ‘Veera’ (157,100), ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (148,200), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (102,400) and ‘Ek Ghar Banuanga’ (65,100).

On Rishtey, ‘Jeevan Saathi’ climbed its way back to the top with 83,300 viewers, followed by ‘Bairi Piya’ with 80,100 viewers and ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ next with 60,300 viewers.

The second qualifier in the Indian Premier League on ITV4 yesterday got a viewership of 232,500 viewers – peaking at 480,100 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Amrit Manthan’ was back on top with 45,200 viewers, followed by ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ with 26,600 viewers and ‘2613’ next with 26,000.
