‘SaraswatiChandra’ returned to the top of the UK ratings last night after the latest episode showed Kumud fighting for her life, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Last night saw the distance between Kumud and Saras grow as the latter prayed for Kumud’s life. The show was watched by 201,800 viewers at 19:30 – peaking at 230,700 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 186,800 viewers and ‘Mahabharat’ in third with 163,200 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (156,700), ‘Saathiya’ (119,300), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (116,100), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (113,300), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (106,400), ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (86,600) and ‘Veera’ (76,500).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ pulled in 84,800 viewers – peaking at 113,500 viewers between 21:00 and 22:05. ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ repeat at 23:00 was in second place with 54,800 viewers, followed by ‘Balika Vadhu’ repeat at 22:30 with 44,200 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘The Bachelorette India Grand Finale’ was the most watched show on the channel with 61,300 viewers between 21:30 and 23:00, while the re-run of ‘Geet’ was second most watched with 40,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ was top with 123,000 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 80,400 viewers and ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 42,900 viewers.

On Lamhe, ‘Yoga For You’ in the morning at 09:00 pulled in 30,600 viewers, followed by ‘Astitva Ek Prem Kahani’ repeat at 09:30 with 29,500 viewers and ‘Amanat’ at midday with 23,300 viewers.
