Star Plus has a winner on its hands with ‘SaraswatiChandra’ after exclusive data obtained by BizAsia showed that it was once again the UK’s most watched Asian programme, for the second consecutive night.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced show was watched by 213,700 viewers at 19:30 – peaking at 252,900 viewers. In second place was ‘Kaali Ek PunarAvtar’, which ends tonight – it was watched by 200,900 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ with 175,700 viewers at 19:00.

The others were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 169,000, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 163,200, ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ with 158,100, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ with 118,000 and ‘Veera’ with 98,100.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Welcome’ at 22:00 was the most watched show on the channel with 46,600 viewers, followed by ‘2612’ with 26,000 and ‘Junoon’ at 21:30 with 22,100 viewers.

On Zing, ‘World Of Bollywood’ at 18:00 was easily the most watched show on the channel with 26,700 viewers. ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 and 22:30 rated zero.

‘Bairi Piya’ continued its good run on Rishtey with an impressive 89,500 viewers at 20:30, followed by ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ with 83,600. ‘Jeevan Saathi’ at 20:00 was watched by 60.300 viewers.

‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ at 21:30 on Sony SAB TV was the most watched show by a huge 47,000 viewers, followed by ‘Baal Veer’ at 20:00 with 35,700 viewers.
