‘SaraswatiChandra’ has returned to pole position in the UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The Star Plus drama at 19:30 pulled in 173,000 viewers – peaking at 200,200 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 163,900 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ in third with 145,300 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (133,600), ‘Veera’ (121,200), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (103,600), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (98,300), ‘Saathiya’ (41,200) and ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (28,500).

The seven-hour live Uttarkhand special appeal show on Star Plus attracted 13,400 viewers between 07:30 – 14:30. On Star Life Ok, the same telecast pulled in just 1,000 viewers between the same time slot.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Junoon’ returned to the top with 16,900 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Gustakh Dil’ with 14,900 viewers and ‘Mahadev’ with 6,700 viewers. The re-run of ‘Geet’ at 14:30 got 3,500 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi did not broadcast yesterday at 14:00 due to Uttarakhand appeal show but the English episode received a zero rating.

On Rishtey, ‘Jeevan Saathi’ pulled in 78,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 78,000 viewers and ‘Bairi Piya’ next with 69,000 viewers.
