Hum TV’s popular show ‘Sadqay Tumharay’ once again proved a huge success in UK Asian TV ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which airs on Fridays at 20:00 crossed the 100,000 mark for the first time with an average 100,000 viewers tuning – peaking at 149,600 viewers. It beat off competition from rival channels Star Plus, Colors and Rishtey. ‘Susral Ke Rang Anokhe’ at 21:00 also did very well with 81,300 viewers – coming second only to Star Plus in that slot.

On Zing, the free-to-air premiere of blockbuster ‘English Vinglish’ at 19:30 delivered the biggest ever ratings for a movie on the channel in recent times. The Sridevi starer raked in 50,000 viewers – peaking at 79,100 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ stayed top with 160,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ with 140,900 viewers and ‘MasterChef India’ at 21:30 did well with 125,700 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Ashoka’ took back the lead with 19,400 viewers, followed by ‘Udaan’ with 18,800 viewers at 20:00.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ took lead with 59,000 viewers, followed by ‘Parichay’ with 23,400 viewers.

On Sky Living, ‘Desi Rascals’ was down in audience numbers to 69,900 viewers – peaking at 95,300 viewers.
