Overnights: SAB scores with ‘Queen’; Star Plus rules

Despite rigorous competition from rival channels including Rishtey, Colors, SAB TV and Hum TV, Star Plus remained the preferred choice in UK ratings last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ was the dominant force with 178,500 viewers – peaking at 221,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 92,300 viewers and the final episode of ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ at 20:00 bowed out with 91,100 viewers. ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ grabbed 86,000 viewers and ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ at 18:30 with 82,800 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 9’ was the most watched show with 53,300 viewers, followed by ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 20:00 with 43,800 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Thapki’ did well with 93,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by the 20:30 show with 57,300 viewers and ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ at 19:30 with 39,600 viewers. Movie ‘Brothers’ at 21:00 delivered 24,400 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Dastaan’ remained top with 64,500 viewers, followed by ‘Gul-e-Rana’ at 20:00 registered 53,700 viewers.

On SAB TV, movie ‘Queen’ did well with 39,400 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Comedy Superstar’ at 20:00 with 10,700 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi’ at 19:00 topped ratings with 16,400 viewers, followed by ‘AIBA 2015’ at 20:00 with 14,800 viewers and movie ‘NH10’ at 23:30 with 11,200 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Roti & Rice’ at 18:30 raked in 11,700 viewers. Movie ‘Besharam’ at 20:30 mustered in 1,500 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Maikay Ko Dey Do Sandesh’ at 19:30 did well with 35,500 viewers, followed by ‘Mera Yahan Koi Nahi’ at 20:00 with 6,600 viewers and ‘Asia Singing Superstar’ at 21:00 with 4,100 viewers.
