‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ on Star Plus was the UK’s most watched Asian TV show on Valentines Day (14th February 2013), according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional.

The 19:00 drama garnered an audience of 237,300 – peaking at 255,100. Its the second day on the trot that ‘Saathiya’ has topped the UK ratings. The show with the least audience during primetime on Star Plus was ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 129,300 viewers.

On Zing, ‘Cloud 9’ – the much publicised Valentines Day special rated zero at 10:30, 16:30, 18:30 and 22:30.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ got 61,000 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ at 20:00 attracting 57,400.

In terms of movie channels on Valentines Day, ‘Baghban’ on UMP Movies attracted 3,500 viewers – peaking at 14,400 viewers. On Star Gold, ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ starring Imran Kha and Genelia D’Souza got 2,000 – peaking at 13,800. It was only the premiere of ‘Vicky Donor’ on Rishtey at 21:30 last night that pulled the most yesterday for a movie. The film delivered 51,800 viewers.
