Overnights: ‘Saathiya’ tops Tuesday UK ratings

One of Star Plus’ longest running shows, ‘Saathiya’ returned to the top of UK Asian TV ratings on Tuesday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The show, which broadcasts at 19:00 pulled in 95,600 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ closely behind with 93,700 viewers and ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 17:30 with 78,300 viewers. New show ‘Mohi’ second episode at 17:00 could only garner 14,400 viewers – A far cry from the 60,000 – 70,000 average ‘Veera’ attracted prior to its departure last week.

On Colors, ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 took lead with 32,200 viewers, followed by ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:30 with 24,200 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 21:00 with 21,000 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 was most watched with 43,700 viewers, followed by ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 26,800 viewers and ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ at 21:00 with 23,900 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ led with 24,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Bhaghyalakshmi’ at 19:30 next with 14,600 viewers and ‘Badii Devrani’ at 21:30 with 12,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Man-o-Salwa’ at 21:00 continued to lead with 46,600 viewers, followed by ‘Dayar-E-Dil’ at 20:00 with 35,300 viewers and ‘Muqadas’ at 22:00 with 34,300 viewers.

On TV99, ratings for the channel remained zero all day – except 13:30 with around 1,000 viewers.
