'Saathiya' tops Thursday night ratings in UK

Popular shows ‘Saathiya’ and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ shared the top position, with the former doing slightly better, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Saathiya’, which airs weekdays at 19:00 on Star Plus, ramped up 140,500 viewers – peaking at 178,300 viewers, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ closely behind with 140,300 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ in third with 93,000 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ (86,400), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (76,700), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (74,500), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (71,500), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (70,400) and ‘Veera’ (56,100).

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was the leader with 78,300 viewers, followed by ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 60,500 viewers and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ next with 55,100 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ was on top of the channel’s ratings with 35,400 viewers, followed by ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ with 13,700 viewers and ‘Savdhaan India’ in third with 12,200 viewers. The re-run of ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ at 14:00 in Hindi drew just 2,900 viewers and a further 1,900 viewers tuning in for the English dubbed at 18:00.
