Overnights: ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ impresses on ZEE TV in UK

The second episode of the new series of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Lil Champs’ gave ZEE TV a much needed increase in its share on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The show backed by a strong marketing campaign in the UK, was watched by 35,400 viewers at 19:00 – peaking at 52,800 viewers. The channel’s share also was up to 0.05%. The channel’s other offerings weren’t as successful with ‘Starry Night 2’ at 20:30 fetching 9,700 viewers and earlier in the day, film ‘Thanedaar’ pulled in 6,300 viewers at 10:30.

However, it was Star Plus that led UK ratings on Sunday with a share of 0.13%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television, Hum Masala and ZEE Cinema with 0.09%, PTC Punjabi with 0.07%, New Vision TV with 0.06%, ZEE TV and Hum TV with 0.05%, Colors Rishtey, Sony MAX and Sony MAX 2 with 0.04%, Star Bharat, Sony SAB TV, B4U Movies and Colors Cineplex with 0.03%, Star Gold, ABP News, 92 News, B4U Music, Geo News and Geo TV with 0.02%.

Star Plus’ top attractions on Sunday were ‘MasterChef India’ final at 22:30 with 40,000 viewers, followed by movie ‘Bala’ at 15:30 with 28,700 viewers and ‘Dance+ 5’ highlights at 20:00 with 21,200 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 pulled in 40,900 viewers, followed by ‘India’s Best Dancer’ at 20:00 with 27,300 viewers and ‘Crime Patrol’ at 00:30 with 10,800 viewers.

On Hum Masala, Pakistan Super League 2020 coverage was watched by 40,000 viewers at 14:00.

On Colors, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ was top show with 11,500 viewers, followed by ‘Desi Beat’ at 14:00 with 10,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’ was watched by 40,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Resham Gali Ki Husna’ at 19:00 with 18,600 viewers.
