Overnights: Rishtey thumps out rivals on Wednesday

While Star Plus remained the UK’s most watched Asian channel, Rishtey did remarkably well with a solid punch in Wednesday UK ratings, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The most watched show on the channel last night was ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 with 69,200 viewers, followed by ‘Kasam’ at 20:30 with 55,200 viewers and ‘Balika Vadhu’ at 21:00 with 50,900 viewers. ‘Bandini’ also did well with 42,900 viewers at 21:30.

However, Star Plus remained the biggest player with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 131,300 viewers, followed by ‘Mere Angne Mein’ at 18:00 with 126,900 viewers and ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ at 20:00 with 126,000 viewers. ‘Saathiya’ settled for No.4 with 124,000 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 10’ stayed ahead with 46,700 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Shani’ at 22:00 with 10,300 viewers and ‘Swaragini’ at 22:30 with 8,900 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ delivered 41,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ at 20:30 with 8,700 viewers and ‘Badho Bahu’ at 21:00 with 6,300 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Saya-e-Deewar Bhi Nahi’ at 20:00 fetched 34,900 viewers, followed by ‘Badguman’ at 19:30 with 29,800 viewers and ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’ at 21:00 with 14,300 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Hasil’ led ratings with 1,500 viewers at 20:00.
