Overnights: Rishtey stays ahead of Colors

Its the battle between sister channels, Colors and Rishtey and this week full marks can be given to the latter, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Last night, Rishtey once again outdid Colors with a better than expected performance. Its strong line-up of shows between 19:00 – 21:00 kept it ahead of Colors and other rivals. New launch ‘Thapki’ at 20:00 was top show with 66,300 viewers, followed by ‘Meri Aashiqui’ at 20:30 with 65,900 viewers and ‘Warrior High’ at 19:00 with 63,600 viewers. ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ at 19:30 also did well with 52,300 viewers.

Over on Colors, ‘Code Red’ was top show with 14,300 viewers, followed by ‘Swaragini’ at 21:30 with 10,700 viewers and ‘Ashoka’ at 21:00 with 9,600 viewers.

Star Plus remained the dominant force with ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 136,900 viewers, followed by ‘Saathiya’ at 19:00 with 97,200 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 21:00 with 67,400 viewers. ‘Tu Tera Hero’ at 20:00 continued to disappoint with an embarrassing 18,100 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Qaid-e-Tanhai’ at 21:00 was the slot leader with 88,800 viewers, followed by repeat of ‘Diyar-e-Dil’ at 22:00 with 46,600 viewers and ‘Aye Zindagi’ at 20:00 with 31,400 viewers.

On &TV, ‘Gangaa’ stayed top with 24,700 viewers, followed by ‘Badii Devrani’ at 21:30 with 13,200 viewers and ‘Razia Sultan’ at 19:00 with 8,300 viewers.
