Overnights: Rishtey beats Star Plus in three slots

Rishtey hit record high ratings last night and in the process beat Star Plus in three important primetime slots, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

Overnight figures show that Rishtey was ahead of Star Plus between 19:30 and 21:00 – the most vital primetime slot on television. This is the first time the Viacom18 owned channel has had such lead over the old time rival. Over the weekend, Rishtey was once again ahead of Star Plus – mainly thanks to its Pakistani show ‘Mera Naseeb’, reality TV show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and premiere of ‘Special 26’.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ ruled the channel again with 30,200 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Savdhaan India’ with 17,300 viewers and ‘Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai’ with 15,100 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ led the ratings with 34,600 viewers, followed by ‘Chidiyaghar’ with 17,300 viewers and ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ next with 7,000 viewers.

On Zing, the 18:30 slot filled by ‘Cloud 9’ replacement ‘Bollywood Business’ pulled in 13,000 viewers, followed by ‘Bollywood Families’ at 19:30 with 5,000 viewers.
