Viacom18 will be celebrating today after Rishtey’s fiction ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ beat Star Plus’ much publicised show ‘Mahabharat’ on Star Plus in the 20:30 slot last night.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ has managed to garner the biggest ever rating for a fiction show on Rishtey. At 20:30, it pulled in a record high 173,500 viewers – peaking at 189,400 viewers. Its the biggest ever audience for a non-Star Plus show for a satellite Asian TV channel. Overall, it was a good night for Rishtey with ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ pulling in 86,100 viewers and ‘Parichay’ getting 60,300 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘SaraswatiChandra’ continued the lead on the channel with 191,200 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 159,800 viewers and ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ with 156,000 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (149,500), ‘Mahabharat’ (137,000), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (101,700), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (92,100), ‘Veera’ (91,300), ‘Saathiya’ (90,400) and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2’ (25,400).

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ was the most watched show on the channel again with 105,700 viewers, followed by ‘Uttaran’ with 75,400 viewers and the repeat of ‘Balika Vadhu’ with 72,600 viewers.

On Lamhe, ‘Saat Phere’ was top with 32,000 viewers, followed by ‘Amanat’ at 21:00 with 8,000 viewers and ‘Kasamh Se’ in third with 7,700 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ led the ratings with 33,400 viewers, followed by ‘Mahadev’ with 18,500 viewers and ‘Geet’ with 18,100 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ re-run got zero in both slots.
