Overnights: Republic Bharat emerges as No.1 Indian news channel in UK

Republic Bharat has for the first time beaten its Indian news rivals in UK ratings, by delivering its biggest ever share on Wednesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Republic Bharat delivered a share of 0.04% – putting it on par with Sony Entertainment Television and B4U Movies. It was ahead of Indian news rivals NDTV 24×7, which garnered 0.03%, followed by ABP News with 0.02%, Aaj Tak with 0.01% and News18 with zero.

Republic Bharat’s most watched time-band on Wednesday was between 15:00 – 18:00 where it pulled in 9,900 viewers and a further 7,000 viewers average between 18:00 – 21:00.

It is worth adding that this is the second rise on two consecutive days in the UK this Week. On Tuesday, the channel registered a share of 0.02%. On Monday, it was at zero share.
