Sony Entertainment Television thrashed rivals on Friday with record audiences tuning into ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 11’ (KBC 11), according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
Sony TV delivered a humongous share of 0.27% – its biggest ever since it joined BARB. Similarly, ‘KBC 11’ was watched by a record 93,200 viewers at 21:00, which saw the show crowned its first crorepati of the season. Its audience peaked further to 114,400 viewers. The channel’s other successful shows on Friday were ‘Patiala Babes’ at 20:30 with 56,500 viewers, ‘Crime Patrol’ at 23:00 with 41,800 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 31,600 viewers.
PTC Punjabi was placed at No.2 with a share of 0.15%, followed by Star Plus with 0.11%, Hum TV with 0.10%, Geo TV with 0.09%, New Vision TV and Sony SAB TV with 0.04%, Colors with 0.03%, BritAsia TV with 0.02% and ZEE TV with 0.01%.
Star Plus’ biggest shows on Friday were ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 43,100 viewers, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 35,500 viewers, ‘Sanjivani’ at 19:00 with 34,900 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 31,800 viewers, ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ at 20:00 with 28,400 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 18:00 with 24,900 viewers and ‘Ek Bhram’ at 18:30 with 22,400 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Ishq Zeh-e-Naseeb’ was watched by 43,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Soya Mera Naseeb’ at 19:30 with 34,000 viewers and ‘Jaal’ at 21:00 with 28,600 viewers.
