Overnights: Re-run shows outperform originals on ZEE TV UK

ZEE TV’s strategy to re-run popular shows from its library during its afternoon timeband, seems to have got off to a good start, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The channel’s top performers on Tuesday were ‘Punar Vivah’ at 14:00 attracting an impressive 42,400 viewers, followed by another re-run ‘Rab Se Sona Ishq’ at 14:30 with 32,400 viewers and ‘Aur Pyar Ho Gaya’ at 13:30 with 3,400 viewers. The only original show that did well on the channel was ‘Guddan’ repeat at 15:00 with 20,700 viewers.

During the primetime original shows, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ led with 7,700 viewers, followed by ‘Rajaa Betaa’ at 18:00 with 5,800 viewers and ‘Man Mohini’ at 22:00 with 5,500 viewers.
