Overnights: ‘Rangrasiya’ launch takes initial lead

Colors launched its two new fictions last night and it was Sanaya Irani’s ‘Rangrasiya’, which took the initial lead.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia, ‘Rangrasiya’ was watched by 8,900 viewers at 21:30 – peaking at 18,800 viewers. The second new launch was Preetika Arora’s debut show ‘BeInteha’ at 21:00, which pulled in 4,100 viewers. The numbers are no way near to what its predecessor show ‘Bigg Boss 7’ was getting before it ended over the weekend. The 21:00 – 22:00 was regularly attracting over 80,000 viewers before it concluded with around 110,000 viewers on Saturday night.

‘Sanskar’ at 19:00 on Colors brought in 6,400 viewers to the channel.

Over on Star Plus, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was the most watched show on UK Asian television with 163,700 viewers at 22:00, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 136,700 viewers and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 126,600 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Lado’ was top with 49,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ with 43,900 viewers and ‘Saathiya’ with 39,300 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Geet’ was most watched with 28,300 viewers, followed with ‘Savdhaan India’ with 26,200 viewers.
