'Pyar Ka Dard...' doing well for Star Plus UK

‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara’ has had a recent surge in viewership on Star Plus UK – in fact one of the best since the show launched in June.

While the likes of ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ and ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ (now off-air) have done superbly well for the channel this year, the Rajshri produced show ‘Pyar Ka Dard…’ had been lagging behind.

However, according to data received by BizAsia from Attentional, ‘Pyar Ka Dard…’, which is aired at 22:00 was rated as the most watched Hindi drama in the UK, expect for Wednesday. On Wednesday, it was beaten in the ratings by ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ at 20:30 and ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ at 19:00. Here’s the breakdown for 3rd – 7th December 2012:

Monday 3rd December: 217,400
Tuesday 4th December: 222,300
Wednesday 5th December: 162,200
Thursday 6th December: 212,500
Friday 7th December: 165,400

Above data is an overnight rating and may change slightly after consolidated figures become available in seven days from BARB.
