‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ on Star Plus returned to the top of the UK ratings last night, according to latest audience figures obtained by BizAsia.

The 22:00 fiction was watched by 224,300 viewers – peaking at a record 304,400 viewers. In recent weeks, ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ has faced stiff competition from ‘SaraswatiChandra’ and ‘MasterChef India’ by stealing the top spot constantly. Last night, ‘MasterChef India’ got 190,000 and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ slipped to third with 182,900 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Veera’ (176,000), ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (138,600), ‘Saathiya’ (120,700), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (102,100), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (96,800) and ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (61,000).

On Rishtey, ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ was on top with 71,500, followed by ‘Bairi Piya’ (51,300) and ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ next with 44,600 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Junoon’ was on top with 32,800 viewers, followed by ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ with 23,300 viewers and ‘2613’ with 17,600 viewers.

On Zing, ‘World Of Bollywood’ was most watched show with 12,900 viewers, followed by ‘Bollywood Bulletin’ at 17:00 got 7,500 viewers. ‘Cloud 9’ at 18:30 got a zero rating and the 22:30 episode pulled in around 500 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Jeanie Aur Juju’ was most watched with 70,400 viewers, followed by ‘Chidiyaghar’ next with 55,400 viewers and ‘Tarak Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ next with 50,900 viewers.
