Its a game of musical chairs for the top position amongst Star Plus dramas – the latest to grab the top spot is ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ pulled in 214,100 viewers at 22:00 – peaking at 251,800 viewers. In second place was ‘MasterChef India’ with 195,800 viewers, followed by ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 194,200 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (188,800), ‘Saathiya’ (155,300), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (150,400), ‘Veera’ (132,700) and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (121,400). New drama ‘Ek Ghar Banuanga’ is engaging well with viewers with an impressive 111,200 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bairi Piya’ led the channel’s ratings with another record night for the show with 111,500, followed by ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 97,700 and ‘Jeevan Saathi’ next with 81,500 viewers.

On Star Life Ok, ‘Amrit Manthan’ continued its good run with 35,900 viewers, followed by ‘Devon Ka Dev Mahadev’ with 29,300 viewers and ‘2613’ was in third at 23:30 with 21,000.

ITV4’s ‘Indian Premier League’ cricket yesterday attracted 208,200 viewers – peaking at 353,600 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was the leader with 78,300 viewers, followed by ‘BaalVeer’ with 74,000 and ‘Chidiyaghar’ next with 61,500 viewers.
