Its a game of musical chairs at the top for Star Plus dramas with ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ returning to pole position, in last night’s data obtained exclusively by BizAsia.

‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was the most watched show last night on UK Asian TV with 171,300 viewers – peaking at 225,100 viewers, while ‘Veera’ managed 164,300 viewers in second place and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ with 142,400 viewers was third.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (127,200), ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ (104,400), ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (97,300), ‘Saathiya’ (96,400), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (75,500) and ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (55,500).

On Rishtey, ‘Bigg Boss 4’ (re-run) continued its dominant run on the channel with 67,000 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’ with 66,200 viewers and ‘Bairi Piya’ with 37,100 was third.

On Star Life OK, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 17,300 viewers at 22:30, followed by ‘Amrit Manthan’ with 12,400 viewers and ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ with 8,900 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in Hindi got 1,800 viewers at 14:00, while the English version got 1,100 viewers.

The repeat of ‘Bollywood Business’ at 16:30 on Zing was on top with 9,600 viewers, followed by ‘Bollywood Now’ at 17:30 got 7,300 viewers and ‘ZEE Multiplex’ at 17:00 attracting 6,600 viewers. New show ‘Grinds My Teeth’ got zero at 19:30.
