Overnights: ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ back on top

‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ was back on top in the UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The romantic drama, which has been sitting at number two for the past few days has finally managed to outdo other shows. ‘Pyar Ka Dard Hai’ got 211,100 viewers – peaking at 269,400 viewers, followed by ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ with 155,000 and ‘SaraswatiChandra’ in third with 151,400 viewers.

The others in the pecking order were ‘Meri Bhabhi’ (135,700), ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ (131,500), ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga’ (125,900), ‘Saathiya’ (120,900), ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ (86,400) and ‘Veera’ (56,600).

On Star Life Ok, ‘Savdhaan India’ was top with 23,200 viewers, followed by ‘Do Dil Ek Jaan’ with 13,900 viewers and ‘Mahadev’ in third with 8,600 viewers. ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ in both Hindi and English got 7,300 viewers.

On Rishtey, ‘Bani – Ishq Da Kalma’ was top with 110,700 viewers, followed by ‘Bandhan’ with 53,500 viewers and ‘Bairi Piya’ next with 46,800 viewers.

On Sony SAB TV, ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ remained on top with 43,200 viewers, followed by ‘Chidiyaghar’ with 32,200 viewers and ‘Baal Veer’ with 30,500 viewers.
