PTC Punjabi has been on a ratings high for the past few weeks by delivering record figures in the UK. After a couple of days being dislodged from the top position, PTC Punjabi returned to No.1 on Tuesday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
PTC Punjabi scooped up a whopping share of 0.17%, leaving rivals well behind. Star Plus was the closest No.2 with a share of 0.13%, followed by Sony Entertainment Television, Hum TV and Colors Rishtey with 0.07%, Geo TV with 0.06%, Dunya News, Aaj Tak and Sony SAB TV with 0.05%, New Vision TV, ZEE TV and Sony MAX 2 with 0.04% and Colors and Star Bharat with 0.03%.
PTC Punjabi’s strongest time band was between 15:00 – 21:30, which includes the channel’s Gurbani from Amritsar and its part-prime time schedule. The whole seven hours averaged with over 30,000 viewers.
Star Plus’ biggest attractions ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ was the biggest show on the channel with 54,900 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at 19:30 with 51,800 viewers, ‘Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji’ at 19:00 with 48,700 viewers, ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ at 20:30 with 46,900 viewers and ‘Krishna Chali London’ at 20:00 with 38,300 viewers.
On Sony TV, ‘Patiala Babes’ ruled with 34,300 viewers at 21:00, followed by ‘Ladies Special’ at 21:30 with 31,900 viewers and ‘Mere Sai’ at 19:00 with 26,900 viewers.
On Hum TV, ‘Suno Chanda’ stayed top with 41,900 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Mere Humdum’ at 19:30 with 16,000 viewers.
