Overnights: PTC Punjabi storms ahead on Thursday in UK

PTC Punjabi continued its upswing in UK ratings on Thursday with a massive surge, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

PTC Punjabi delivered a whopping share of 0.24% – much ahead of any of its rivals. Sony TV and BritAsia TV were placed at No.2 with 0.11%, followed by Star Plus, Colors and New Vision TV with 0.06%, Hum TV with 0.05%, Geo TV, Republic Bharat and Colors Rishtey with 0.04%, Star Bharat and Samaa TV with 0.03%, Sony MAX, Sony SAB TV. B4U Movies, Aaj Tak, Venus TV and Dunya News with 0.02%, ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, Colors Cineplex and Star Gold with 0.01%.

On PTC Punjabi, the afternoon slot between 12:00 and 15:00 proved a huge winner with 54,100 viewers – beating all rivals with a strong performance. The subsequent slot between 15:00 and 18:00 fetched an average 45,800 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Crime Patrol’ fetched 51,400 viewers at 21:30, followed by ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ at 21:00 with 48,400 viewers and ‘Indian Idol 11’ at 18:00 with 27,700 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Anupamaa’ was top show with 29,000 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’ at 19:00 with 25,600 viewers, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ at 19:30 with 16,400 viewers, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ at 21:00 with 16,100 viewers, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ at 21:30 with 12,500 viewers, ‘IPL Special’ at 17:00 with 12,100 viewers and ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ at 22:00 with 4,900 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ led with 34,500 viewers at 19:30, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 20:00 with 25,500 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Saraab’ pulled in 17,900 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida’ repeat at 12:00 with 13,500 viewers and ‘Udaari’ at 21:00 with 12,800 viewers.

On Geo TV, ‘Tamana’ raked in 10,300 viewers at 21:00.

On ZEE TV, ‘Jodha Akbar’ led with 5,100 viewers at 19:00.
