Overnights: PTC Punjabi stays top on Sunday; Star Gold shoots to No.2 in UK

PTC Punjabi continued to outperform strongly over its rivals in UK ratings on Sunday, while Star Gold shot up to No.2, leaving Sony Entertainment Television and Star Plus behind, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

PTC Punjabi delivered a share of 0.17%, followed by Star Gold with 0.12%, Sony TV with 0.11%, Star Plus with 0.09%, Colors, Colors Cineplex and Hum TV with 0.05%, B4U Movies with 0.04%, Star Bharat, Sony MAX, Hum Masala, Geo News, New Vision TV, Dunya News, Sony SAB TV, ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema with 0.03%, Colors Rishtey with 0.02%.

Star Gold surged on Sunday with its cricket coverage of India V Bangladesh attracting an average 63,900 viewers. Later in the day, movie ‘Housefull 3’ was watched by 6,600 viewers.

On Sony TV, ‘Indian Idol 11’ led ratings with 63,500 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ at 21:30 with 21,200 viewers and ‘Indian Idol 11’ repeat at 14:00 with 12,900 viewers.

On Star Plus, ‘Dance+ 5’ attracted 60,400 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘TED Talks India Nayi Soch’ at 19:00 with 24,800 viewers and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ at 14:30 with 13,000 viewers. ‘Divya Drishti’ pulled in 10,300 viewers.

On Colors, ‘Bigg Boss 13 Weekend Ka Vaar’ at 21:30 topped ratings with 43,400 viewers, followed by ‘Shakti’ at 22:45 with 11,600 viewers.

On Hum TV, ‘Ehd-e-Wafa’ was biggest show with 33,600 viewers at 20:00, followed by ‘Gul-e-Rana’ at 21:00 with 15,800 viewers and ‘Resham Gali Ki Husna’ at 19:00 with 15,600 viewers.

On ZEE TV, ‘Music Masti with Maniesh Paul’ topped ratings with 16,500 viewers.

On ZEE Cinema, the premiere of ‘Mulk’ starring Rishi Kapoor was watched by 15,100 viewers at 18:00.

On Colors Cineplex, ‘Force 2’ delivered 17,500 viewers at 18:00.
